Three people were killed in separate road accidents in Madhukhali and Bhanga upazilas on Friday.
Aminur Rahman, assistant superintendent of Faridpur Police, said a bus of ‘Hanif Paribahan’ hit a motorcycle at Boalia in Maghukhali upazila around 11 am, killing two motorcyclists killed on the spot.
The deceased were identified as Haider, 50 and his nephew Masud, 35.
Angered by the incident, locals set the bus afire and put up barricade on the road for some time. In another incident, ABM Ekramul Haq, of Rajoir upazila of Madaripur district, was crushed under the wheels of a Barisal-bound bus from Dhaka while getting down from it at Biswaroad intersection in Bhanga upazila in the morning.
