Police detained three Jamaat- Shibir leaders from different areas of the city yesterday. CMP sources said Pahartali thana police rounded up one Jamaat leader Sahadat Hossain from Uttar Kattali in city. Pahartali thana officer incharge Mr. Sadip Kumar Das confirmed the news of arrest. Sources said Sahadat Hossain is the Ameer of Phahartali thana Jamaat.
Meanwhile CMP police also rounded up two Jamaat- Shibir activists from Rahattarpool area under Bakalia thana. Officer- In-Charge of Bakalia thana Pranab Chowdhury confirmed it. The arrestees were identified as Omar Faruk and Saidur Rahman alias Saleh.
