Three war ships of Indian Navy- INS Tir, INS Sujatha and ICGS Vharuna- arrived on Friday in Chittagong naval area on a five-day goodwill visit.
The vessels now berthed at Chittagong Dri Dock jetty arrived straight in Chittagong naval area from Indian Naval base as part of goodwill visit of the Indian government particularly the Indian Naval forces, Bangladesh Navy sources said. Chief Staff Officer of Chittagong Naval area Captain Kamal Naser formally received the three ships at Chittagong Dru Dock jetty in the morning. Captains and officials of the Indian ships will call on with Rear Admiral M Shahin Iqbal, Commander of Chittagong Naval area at his office during the visit.
