Three drug traffickers were rounded up from port city area on Monday night in separate drives of the city police. In one drive rounded up one drug peddler alongwith one thousand pieces of yaba from Islamia College crossing under Sadarghat thana area .
The approximate cost of these yaba is about Tk. 2 lakh , sources said. The detained identified as md. Ismail hails from Cox’sBazar district. On the other hand, EPZ thana police rounded up another drug traffickers from Halishahar area alongwith 80 liters of locally made wine (cholai madh) on Monday night . The detained was identified as Jarna Chakma and Jahedul Islam.
EPZ thana sources said police rounded up Jarna Chakma alongwith 50 liters wine and Jahaedul islam with 30 liters wine.
