Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained three persons along with fake idols and gold coins from Piplusan Guchchhagram under Singra Police Station in Natore district.
The detained persons are Shahin Ali, 33, Rashedul Islam, 26, and Sufia Begum, 52–all the inhabitants of the village.
Mohiuddin Miraz, Company Commander of RAB-12 in Sirajganj, confirmed the matter in a press release on Wednesday afternoon.
The three persons were arrested from the village along with seven fake idols, 470 pieces fake gold coins, three knives and a machete.
