3 held over Uber driver murder

The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka yesterday placed three persons on two days’ remand each in a case filed over the murder of Uber driver Arman in the city on Saturday night. Magistrate Abu Sayed of the CMM Court passed the order on Sunday after hearing.
Earlier, DB Police Inspector Mahedi Hasan produced the accused in the seeking 10 days’ for each accused.
Police arrested them for their alleged involvement

in the murder of Uber driver Arman.
The accused persons are Shezan, Sharif and Sajib. Their full identitities could not be known yet.
Detective Branch of police conducted drives in various places of the capital and nabbed the trio.
DB Deputy Commissioner Moshiur Rahman confirmed the matter.
Arman, 37, a driver of Uber, was found slaughtered inside a car at Uttara sector 14 in the capital on June 13. The following day, the victim’s wife Rabeya Khatun lodged the murder case with Uttara West Police Station of the capital.
