Three international flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines and Regent Airways were diverted to Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong from the capital’s airport on Monday morning due to rough weather in Dhaka.
Another international flight of the national flag carrier was also forced to return to
Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka shortly after its take off for the same reason, Beni Madhab, deputy director of the airport, told media yesterday.
All flights operation of the airport was suspended for at least 30 minutes in the morning. The operation was resumed around 12:15pm, the official added.
