Three students of Islamic History and Culture Department, Dhaka University (DU) got Professor Habiba Khatun scholarship for their outstanding academic result.
The students are Khan Mahbub Morshed, M. Sanaullah and Sathi Khatun.
DU Vice-Chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique handed there cheques in his office lounge on Thursday.
The VC advised the students to work for prosperous Bangladesh.
DU Treasurer Professor Kamal Uddin presided over the function, while DU Pro-VC Professor Akhtaruzzaman, Arts Faculty Dean Professor Abu Mohammad Delower Hossen, Islamic History and Culture Department Chairman Professor Mahfujul Islam and Donor Professor Habiba Khatun were present at the function.
Habiba Khatun is a retired Professor of the department.
