A three-day workshop on “Safe road for rural area” started on Friday in Cox’s Bazar with a call to protect roads in rural areas for ensuring socio-economy development of the country.
The Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) under its Rural Transport Improvement Project (RTIP-2) arranged the workshop.
Chief Engineer of LGED in Cox’s Bazar Shyama Prasad Adhikari, among others, were present there.
