A three-day model United Nations (UN) conference titled ‘Jahangirnagar Model United Nations 2017’ began on Thursday at Jahir Raihan Auditorium on Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus in Savar.
JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Farzana Islam inaugurated the conference as the chief guest while JU Model United Nation Association (JUMUNA) is organizing it, said a JU press release.
JU International Relations Department Professor Abdullahel Kafi presided over the inaugural function.
Around 300 delegates from reputed schools, colleges and universities are taking part in the conference.
The conference will end on July 29.
