Chittagong Bureau :Three on-duty police constables were injured after miscreants hurled crude bomb on a police patrol team in the port city’s Chandgaon area on Wednesday evening.The victims were identified are Ramij, Roni and Ripon of Chandgaon Police Station. They were sent to the Chittagong Medical College and Hospital (CMCH), police said. Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP)’s Commissioner Abdul Jalil Mondal said: “Mscreants hurled crude bombs on a police patrol team near Rose Garden Club of Purantan Chandgaon Thana area around 7:30pm while they were discharging their duties, leaving three policemen injured.”The police are conducting drives to arrest the culprits, who are responsible for the attack., the police official said.
