UNB, Thakurgaon :
Three Bangladeshi nationals were shot and wounded by members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) at Beurjhari frontier in Baliadangi upazila on Friday night.
The victims were identified as Mister, 25, son of Selim Miah, Sadequl, 26, son of Dabiruddin and Tojammel, 25, son of Azamuddin. Major Touhid Hossain of Border Guard Bangladesh Battalion-30 said the BSF troops of Borobillah camp opened fire on the trio when they went to the area adjacent to border pillar No 380 for bringing cattle around 11:30pm, leaving them injured.
BGB sent a letter to the BSF authorities protesting the incident. A company-commander level flag meeting between BGB and BSF is scheduled to be held in the evening.
