3 BD cattle trader injured by BSF in Kurigram

Three Bangladeshi cattle traders injured in firing rubber bullet by Indian Border Security Force(BSF) at Dhularkuti frontier under Naodanga union of Phulbari upazila in Kurigram district at 9 am on Monday.
The injured are identified as Azizul Haque 33 son of Hasan Ali, Jahangir Alam 22 son of Motiar Rahman and Mithu Miah 25 son of Abu Bakar of village Dhularkuti under the upazila. Of them Azizul has been taken to Rangpur for better treatment as his condition was deteriorated.Border sources and Hossain Ali, father of the injured cattle trader said, the Indian cattle traders numbering 8/10 were handing over some cattle to Bangladeshi cattle traders in no man’s land near sub pillar no-3 of international main pillar no-931 about 9 am on Monday. At that time BSF patrol of Narayangani camp of 124 BSF Battalion of Coochbihar district of West Bengal province in India fired three rounds of rubber bullet. Consequently three persons injured seriously.Shimulbari company commander subedar Golam Mortuza admitted the incident and told that the injured persons entered into India and received bullet injure.
The smugglers are smuggling in day time due to dense fog. Security measures both BGB and BSF have been tightened following the incident.
