The Dhaka University authority is going to abolish participating in the admission tests for the second time in the first year honors courses. Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor AAMS Arefin Siddique disclosed this after a general meeting of the admission committee on Tuesday. From the academic session of 2015-16, the students, who will pass in the HSC and equivalent examinations in 2015, will be able to participate in the year’s admission test, he said. Conditions to get admission in the Department of English will be relaxed, he also said.
