Fahad became champion in the Men’s (Senior) Division of the BRAC Chicken 2nd National Surfing Competition on Saturday. The Competition was held in the Bay of Bangal in Cox’s Bazar.
Rifa Akter emerged as the champion in the Women’s Division on the same day.
Mannan became champion in the Men’s (Junior) Division on the same.
Fahad was awarded Tk 20,000 as prize-money while Rifa Akter was given Tk 15,000 and Mannan got Tk 15,000.
After the finals, President of Bangladesh Surfing Association Kazi Firoz Rashid, MP distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
