Chittagong district police recovered a total of 293 stolen and non registered motor cycles in a two hour- long storm raid in Chittagong district area on Wednesday. Police filed 214 cases in this connection.
Sources said, police conducted a storm raid to nab the motor cycle thieves by setting up 54 check posts in Chittagong. The two hour- long raid from 10 am to 12 pm was led by Additional SP’s Rezaul Masud and A K M Emran Bhuiyan. The police team seized a total of 293 stolen and non registered motor cycles during the raid.
Rezaul Masud said under the supervision of SP Nur -e- Alam Mina, raids were conducted setting up check posts on Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway and Dhaka-Chittagong highway.
