UNB, Satkhira :
Police in a special drive arrested 29 people from different parts of the district from Thursday night to Friday night.
Among them, 12 were held from Sadar upazila, six from Kalaroa, two each from Tala, Shyamnagar and Ashashuni upazilas, three from Kaliganj upazila and one each from Patkelghata and Debhata upazilas, said Mizanur Rahman, inspector of the special branch of Satkhira police.
All of the arrestees were said to be accused in different cases.
