Police in a drive nabbed 28 Jamaat-Shibir activists from Satkania and Lohagara thana on Wednesday night.
Chittagong District Police Assistant Police Super(Satkania Circle) AKM Emran Bhuiyan told the New Nation that 20 persons arrested from Satkania and eight from Lohagara. There’re a number of cases against 14 persons for violence on the Jatiya Sangsad polls and after the announcement of verdict of Jamaat leader Delwar Hossain Saidi. They would be produced before the court shown arrest in different cases, he added.
