Members of Border Guard Bangladesh arrested 27 people while they were attempting to enter India without valid documents through Putkhali border here on Friday night.
Acting on secret information, a patrol team of BGB conducted a drive in the area in the evening and arrested them around 7:45 pm.
The arrestees include 18 men, five women and four children-all hailing from different parts of Satkhira, Narail, Khulna, Bagerhat and Jhenidah districts.
