The government has allotted 254 plots of different sizes among freedom fighters during the current tenure.
Housing and Public Works Minister Engineer Mosharraf Hossain said this in the Jatiya Sangsad, while replying to a starred question from Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal member Nazmul Haque Prodhan on Sunday.
He said the Rajdhani Unnyan Katripakhha (RAJUK) allotted plots among 52 freedom fighters under various projects and National
Housing Authority (NHA) also allotted plots to 138 freedom fighters.
“Rajshahi Development Authority (RDA) provided plots to 17 freedom fighters, while Khulna Development Authority (KDA) allotted plots among 43 freedom fighters,” the minister added.
He informed the House that the Chittagong Development Authority (CDA) also provided plots to four freedom fighters.
