A case has been filed against 250 unknown people over the clash between Jahangirnagar University and locals.
Security officer of the university Jefrul Hasan Chowdhury Sajal filed the case with Ashulia Police Station on Sunday night, said Inspector (Operations) of the police station Abdur Rashid.
The JU students took position in front of the vice-chancellor’s residence on Sunday to realise their several demands following the clash with the residents of Gerua.
Later, they entered resident halls breaking open the doors.
The demands include filing a case over the clash within 24 hours, bringing back those students who are staying at Gerua to the campus safely, opening halls for the sake of safety and ensuring compensation of the affected students.
