24 rivers marked rise, 60 fall

Water levels at 24 river stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) marked rise and 60 stations recorded fall and three are above danger level.
Among the 90 monitored river stations five were steady, a bulletin of FFWC said on Tuesday.
The Ganges and Brahmaputra-Jamuna rivers are in falling trend, while the Padma and Surma-Kushiyara rivers are in rising trend.
The Brahmaputra-Jamuna rivers may continue to fall in the next 48 hours.
The Ganges river may continue falling in the next 48 hours, while the Padma river may likely to start falling in the next 24 hours.
The Surma-Kushiyara rivers may continue to rise in the next 24 hours.
