Sixteen students of Premier University have been suspended for life long and seven others suspended temporarily by the university authority following the bloody clash and killing of one MBA student Sohel on March 29 last.
Following the recommendations of the probe committee and approval of the senate, authority suspended them. Proctor of PU Ahmed Rajeb confirmed the news of suspension.
The suspended students are Ashraful Islam, Wahiduzzaman, Md. Ziaul Haider chowdhury, SM Golam Mostafa, Tamimul Alam, Md. Ibrahim, Kazi Zainul Abedin, Saifuddin, Md. Abu Zahed, Md. Nizamuddin, Saiful Md. Tarek, ABM Nurul |Faisal, Md. Saiful Islam Sakib, Abu Faiz, Md. Rashedul, and Md. Nazmul. Following the acquiiting from the case, students on prayer may be considered for futhur action at university end, sources said.
