bdnews24.com :Border Guard Bangladesh has pushed back 23 Myanmar citizens who were held from Bandarban’s Naikkhanchharhi.BGB Cox’s Bazar Battalion-17 Commander Lt Col Imran Ullah Sarker confirmed the development to bdnews24.com on Friday. They were nabbed after being found roaming in Ghumdhum, Betbunia Bazaar and Tamabru areas, he said. BGB patrols caught them during a drive conducted from Friday early morning to 11am.”They were sent back to Myanmar around 12pm through Ghumdhum border,” he added.A total of 221 trespassers from Myanmar had been sent back since Apr 1, the BGB official added.
