Officials of Customs Intelligence recovered 220 cartons of foreign cigarettes at Shah Amanat International Airport, Chittagong yesterday morning . Acting on a tip-off, the officials recovered the cigarettes, worth around Tk six lakh from cargo department of the airport, said Sohel Rana, Assistant Commissioner of Customs Intelligence, Chittagong Office. The cigarettes were brought in two baggages through a flight of Air Arabia from UAE on June 2 last, Sohel Rana said adding that the Customs Intelligence was investigating to find out the passenger who brought the cigarettes.
