The Election Commission on Saturday withdrew 21 presiding officers appointed in Kalaroa for the fourth phase of the upazila election.
Confirming the matter, Kalaroa upazila Election Officer Benzir Ahmed said the 21 presiding officers were withdrawn on suspicion of their link to BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami.
Polling in Kalaroa upazila is scheduled to be held in 67 centers on Sunday.
About 1,64,544 voters, including 80,775 males and 83,769 females, will cast their votes.
