UNB, Cox’s Bazar :
Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered 20,000 pieces of Yaba tablet from near the bank of the Naf River at Sluice Gate no. 1 in Teknaf upazila on Saturday morning.
Lieutenant Colonel Abu Jar Al Zahid, commanding officer of BGB-42, said a patrol team of the border force challenged a group of people while they were staying on the bank of the Naf with a boat around 8:00am.
Sensing the presence of the BGB men, the smugglers fled the scene. Later, the border force recovered 20,000 Yaba tablets searching the boat.
