Coast Guard detained a engine boat alongwith stolen mustard oil from Karnaphuli river. Acting on secret information, Coast Guard team detained the engine boat and recovered stolen 2000 liters mustard oil on Friday midnight.
A sources of CG said these mustard oil loaded in the boat encroached near the port areas for aimed destinations after midnight but acting on information, CG seized the boat. The workers and boatmen flee quickly from the boat, sources said. The approximate cost of the stolen oil is about Tk.2.40 lakh, sources said.
