The historic Homecoming Day of Father of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujubur Rahman was observed in Baraigram under Natore district on Wednesday.
On the occasion of the Day, a discussion meeting was held and Baraigram Upazila Chairman Dr. Siddikur Rahman Patwary in his own interest and money distributed three thousand pieces of blankets among cold-hit poor people.
The discussion meeting was held at the auditorium of the upazila parishad. The meeting was presided over by the AL leader Abdus Sobahan Pramanik while Natore Zilla Parishad Chairman Adv. Sajedur Rahman Khan was present as Chief Guest. Also, Upazila Parishad Chairman Dr. Siddikur Rahman Patwary, Zilla Parishad Member Abul Kalam Juyerder, district Jubo-League Presidend Bashirur Rahman Chowdhury, Bonpara Pouro Panel Mayor Mohith Kumer Sarker and Pouro AL leader Abul Kalam Azad were present as special guests. At the end of the meeting, chief and special guests distributed two thousand pieces of blankets. Before this meeting, on the occasion of the day chief and special guests also distributed one thousand piece of blankets among poor people at Juyaria Union Parishad
