The BNP-led 20-party alliance will hold a meeting with the Election Commission on Sunday to discuss matters of the next Parliamentary polls.
The meeting is scheduled to be held with the commission around 4:00pm, said Shahdat Hossain Selim, Joint-Secretary General of Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), an ally of the 20-party alliance.
Leaders from 20-party alliance said, the level-playing field has not yet been ensured as the arrest spree against the opposition party men is still going on.
They said, the EC has shut its eyes despite repeated calls to take steps to stop harassing or arresting of the oppositions for the sake of holding free and fair polls.Several top leaders of the 20-party alliance led by LDP President Col (retd) Oli Ahmed will join the meeting to discuss the said issues.
