Staff Reporter :At least 20 people, including RMG workers, were hurt in the blast of a boiler at readymade garments (RMG) in Ashulia, on the outskirt of the capital on Saturday afternoon.Of them, four were identified as Razia Khatun (37), Rajib (2-month), Fayez Uddin (57) and Kamal Mia (18). They are now undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) in a critical condition. Factory workers and local people said that a boiler of RN Garment factory blasted on the second floor of the building around 1:30pm. The walls of the floor collapsed on an adjacent house, leaving five residents of the house injured.Five workers of the factory were injured in the explosion, while 10 others got hurt when they were trying to leave the factory in panic.Ashulia Police Station OC Mohsinul Kadir said that the injured were admitted to Enam Medical College and Hospital and other hospitals in Savar. Four of them were shifted to the DMCH when their condition deteriorated.
