The government has promoted 20 cops officials to the rank of Additional Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police in the latest reshuffle of the police administration.
Public Security Division of the Home Ministry on Sunday issued a gazette notification in this regard.
The newly promoted police officials have been attached to the Police Headquarters, according to the gazette notification.
The officials are Md Habibur Rahman,
Additional DIG of River Police unit, Dhaka, Tanvir Haider Chowdhury, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP), SM Fazlur Rahman, DC of Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP), Md Kamrul Ahsan, Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of police, Police Headquarters, Proloy Chisim, Superintendent of Police (SP), Special Branch (SB) of Police, Dhaka, SM Ainul Bari, SP, Special Branch, Dhaka.
