Two cases on charge of reported rapes were lodged with Sharsha and Chaugachha Police Stations. The police detained one said the police.
Sharsha police on Tuesday arrested Abir Hossain, 26, son of a house owner for reportedly raping their house help for several times alluding her to marry. The arrested hailed from Satkhira Mor at Nabharan under Sharsha upazila.
Badrul Alam, Officer in-Charge, Sharsha Police Station confirming the information told that the detained was produced in a Jashore court on Wednesday.
In another incident, a housewife filed a case with Chaugachha Police Station for assaulting her sexually while having bath at her residence on October 3. But the police registered the case on Wednesday.
Acceding to the case story, the incident took place in the morning of 3rd October at Swarupdah village under Chaugachha Police Station. Shohagh Hossain, 22, son of Abdur Rashid, was made accused in the case.
Rifat Khan Rajib, Officer in-Charge, Chaugachha Police Station confirmed the information saying that the police took time to register the case for investigation.
