A court here on Thursday sentenced two women to life term imprisonment for killing a five year old girl in Chadgaon village of Pirganj upazila in the district over land dispute.
The lifers are Majeda Khatun, a resident of Chadgaon village of Pirganj upazila and her sister-in-law Tahmina.
According to the case statement, Majeda and Tahmina killed their neighbor’s daughter Nadira following a land dispute on April 17 in 2014. A case was filed in this connection.
