2 teenagers return from Indian jail after 2 years

Two teenage boys returned home through Benapole check post on Saturday morning after serving two years in an Indian jail. Indian Police handed over them to Bangladesh Immigration police.
The returnees are Sujoy Mandal, 15, son of Kiron Mandal of Monikhali village and Milon, 16, son of Bimol of Chankhali village of Satkhira District. The boys were trafficked to India two and half years ago, alluring them with good jobs there.
Officer-in-Charge Abul Basar of Benapole check post immigration police said. Indian police arrested the boys from Kolkata town for entering the country without necessary documents. They later produced the arrestees before an Indian court that sent them to jail, the OC said.
Later, Kolkata police arrested them for not having any valid documents and produced them before a court which sentenced them two years jail.
On completion of their jail term, they were handed over to an Indian NGO.
The Indian government has returned them following the two countries of Home Ministry through letters several times.
The boys were handed over to their respective families.
