Police have arrested the caretaker of a house in Siddhirganj of Narayanganj for reportedly raping two teenage sisters.
The arrestee was identified as Abu Bakar, caretaker of the house of Jahangir where the victims have been living.
A team of police picked him up from Kandapara of Siddhirganj on Monday night.
Sub-inspector Alamgir Hossain of Siddhirganj Police Station said Bakar took the two sisters to his house after addressing them granddaughters while they were returning home from their factory at Mouchak on October 5 where he raped them.
As the matter spread around, locals informed police of it on Monday night.
Later, a team of police rushed in and arrested the caretaker, said officer-in-charge of Siddhirganj Police Station Quamrul Faruk.
