UNB, Magura :Two sisters allegedly committed suicide by hanging themselves from a single rope at Durgapur village in Sadar upazila on Friday night.The deceased were identified as Antara Begum, 18, a Class-XI student of Magura Govt Female College, and her sister Chaity Begum, 15, a Class-X student of Ramnagar High School. They were daughters of Farhad Hossain of the village.Officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station Munshi Asaduzzaman said the two sisters hanged themselves from the ceilingof the room around 8pm after their parents rebuked them over their love affairs.On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to hospital morgue for autopsy. Victims’ father said they committed suicide following a family feud.
