Two sisters were crushed under the wheels of Karnafuli Express Train at Shimrailkandi of Brahmanbaria.
The accident took place around 4pm on Thursday.
According to the sources, they went to the nearby bazar for shopping. After that, when the two sisters were walking by the railway track unmindfully, Karnafuli Express Train running between Dhaka and Chattogram struck them, causing instant death.
The deceased were identified as Shirina, 14, and Puspo, 10, daughters of one Shafiq Mia of Char Islampur village in Bijoynagar upazila of Brahmanbaria.
Sanaul Huq, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Brahmanbaria Railway Police Outpost confirmed the matter to media that police went to the spot and took them to Hospital for autopsy.
