Police arrested two suspected robbers while taking preparation for a robbery in Shatgaon area on the Chandura-Akhaura Road in Bijoynagar upazila early Monday.
The arrestees were identified as Bulbul Hossain Builla, 35, and Kazi Harmooz Ali, 32.
Selimuddin, officer-in-charge of Bijoynagar Police Station, said being tipped off about a gang of robbers taking preparation for a robbery, a team of police conducted a drive in the area and arrested the two robbers.
The two arrestees have several cases filed against them with the police station, he added.
