Chittagong Metropolitan Police rounded up two pirates alongwith arms from the coast of EPZ in Chittagong yesterday afternoon. The detained pirates were identified as Md. Belal and Md. Manzoo.
They were arrested at about 12 noon. Deputy Police Commissioner of CMP (Port) Md. Mostaque Ahmed told that acting on secret information EPZ thana police conducted raid in coastal side of Halishahar area near EPZ of Chittagong .
Police recovered two LG, 3 round catridge and a number of signal rocket player from their possession.
