Two pedestrians were killed as a truck ran over them at Ragmara on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Trishal upazila on Thursday morning.
The deceased were identified as Muktadir and Lal Miah. Officer-in-charge of Trishal Police Station Moniruzzaman said the speeding truck knocked down the duo on the highway at about 8:00am while they were crossing the highway.
leaving them dead on the spot.
A case was filed in this connection.
