At least two young motorcyclists were killed, another injured seriously in a collision between a microbus and a motorbike at Dhaki on all-weather road in Mitamoion Haor upazila of Kishoreganj on Sunday evening.
The deceased were identified as Sanam (23), son of Mizamur Rahman at Boalay in Kishoreganj and Rafiq (24), son of Mannan Anam in Zafrabad of Karimganj Upazila. Serious injured Roni (22) was admitted to Mymensing medical college hospital.
Officer-in -Charge (OC) in Mitamoion Golam Rabbani said that the tragic accident took place while the microbus collided with motorbike around 7am, leaving two bikers dead on the spot and injured another seriously.
Receiving on information Police rushed to spot and dead body recovered and sent to Kishoreganj General Hospital morgue for autopsy and another youth named Roni was sent to Hospital.
Police Super (SP) of Kishoreganj Mashrukur Rahman Khaled BPM (Bar) told the New Nation that many people have come to visit the Haor and enjoy the fresh air.” However, two accidents in one day is a very sad event.
