Coronavirus outbreak: 2 more BD men infected, 10 quarantine in S’pore

Two more Bangladeshi migrant workers in Singapore have been infected with the coronavirus, besides the previous two cases being confirmed, according to a report of The Straits Times published on Thursday.
On the other hand, 10 Bangladeshi migrant workers are among 19 others have been kept in quarantine in the country (Singapore) as they are suspected as coronavirus infected. The Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) on Thursday confirmed it.
“A total 19 people, including 10 Bangladeshi migrant workers, have been kept in quarantine in Singapore as they are suspected with coronavirus infected,” said IEDCR Director Professor Dr Meerjady Sabrina Flora at a press conference at the IEDCR auditorium in Dhaka on Thursday.
She also said that among the two Bangladesh nationals diagnosed with coronavirus, the first person has been receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), while the second one is under normal treatment in Singapore.
