UNB, Chandpur :
Two minor cousins drowned at Malapara village of Hajiganj upazila on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Junayed, 5, son of Abdus Sattar and Yeasin, 5, son of Md Mojib of the village.
Family sources said Junayed and Yeasin slipped into the pond adjacent to their houses while playing at noon.
Later, family members noticed their floating bodies in the pond and sent those to Matlab South Upazila Health Complex where duty doctor Md Taher declared them dead.
