Two teenage boys were killed when a bus rammed a motorcycle in Bhogra bypass area of the city on Friday.
Quoting witnesses, police said the accident took place around 11 am when a Gazipur-bound double-decker bus of BRTC hit the motorcycle carrying the two boys from behind, leaving them dead on the spot.
One of the deceased was identified as Arif while the identity of the other boy could not be known immediately, said Bahar, sub-inspector of Naojor highway police camp. Being enraged by the incident, local people set fire to the bus and put barricade on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway, disrupting traffic on the busy highway for an hour.
