Two persons, including a rickshaw puller, were killed in two separate accidents in the city’s Dhanmondi and Sutrapur areas early Friday.
The deceased were identified as Abul Kalam, a rickshaw puller from Rayerbazar in the capital and Anwar Hossain, a construction worker in -habitant of Sutrapur in city.
Abul Kalam was injured as a private car hit his rickshaw in Modhubazar area of Dhanmondi at 7:00 in the morning.
He was taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where doctors declared him dead instantly.
Anwar Hossain fell from the 6th floor of a 10-storey under construction building at Sutrapur around 7:00am.
He was declared dead in the hospital.
