In separate incidents, two people, including a construction worker, died falling off multi-storey buildings in Madhya Badda and Pallabi areas on Friday.
Al Amin, 25, was critically injured as he fell from the sixth floor of an under-construction building around 10am while working, said Sentu Chandra Das, sub-inspector of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
Later, he was taken to the DMCH where doctors declared him dead around 11 am.
In the other incident, Hazi Abul Kashem, 65,
suddenly slipped from the rooftop of a seven-storey building in Pallabi around 10:30 am.
He was also admitted to the DMCH around 11:30 am. However, he succumbed to his injuries around 12 noon.
