2 juveniles return from Indian safe home

Two Bangladeshi juveniles returned home through Darshana border here on Sunday after languishing in an Indian jail for one and a half years.
The returnee juveniles are-Surjo Protap, 14, son of Suruj Halder, hailing from Bablatola village in Kolapara upazila of Patuakhali district and Anil Biswas, son of Thakur Biswas, hailing from Sumartala village in Kalia upazila of Narail district.
Indian Border Security Force (BSF) caught Surjo and Anil on July 6, 2016 after they entered India without any valid documents through Benapole border point in search of jobs, said sub-inspector Abdul Halim, in-charge of Darshana Checkpost Immigration Police.
Later, they were handed over to police. The arrestees were produced before a local court when the court ordered to keep them in a safe home.Following a flag meeting between border forces of India and Bangladesh, BSF today handed them over to Border Guard Bangaldesh (BGB).
Akram Hossain, officer-in-charge of Damurhuda Police Station, said that they will hand the returnees over to their respective families.
