RAB has arrested two suspected operatives of banned outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh or JMB in Gazipur.
The arrests were made around 9:30pm Thursday, said Senior Assistant Superintendent of Rapid Action Battalion-2 Robiul Islam.
Chan Mia, 30, and Mojnu Mia, 27, were picked up from Kamarjuri Road and Hurricane Road respectively.
“They used to run a grocery business and secretly finance JMB,” said the RAB official.
Further information may be gleaned after questioning them in custody, he said.
