UNB, Dhaka :Police arrested two Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal activists in front of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan office on Tuesday as they had been there with some food for her.Members of Gulshan police intercepted Jewel Khan and Nasiruddin, activists of private university AIUB unit JCD, as they tried to enter the BNP chief’s office with some cooked rice, drinks and two papayas at around 1:45pm, said Khaleda’s press wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan.Later, they were taken to Gulshan Police Station.Talking to reporters, Nasir said they have come to provide the food items to their leader Khaleda Zia, but police arrested them.Asked why they were arrested, police declined to make any comment.Khaleda along with some BNP leaders and her office staff and security personnel have been staying in her Gulshan office since January 3.
